Michael Peters

Director

A former attorney for the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Peters was assigned to the Air Quality Division. At DEQ, Peters prosecuted cases and negotiated settlement of numerous air quality matters. Peters has extensive experience dealing with permitting and enforcement issues in air quality, solid and hazardous waste, water quality and Corps of Engineers permitting issues. Peters has investigated and defended Administrative and civil enforcement actions initiated by regulatory agencies, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, as well as the U.S. Department of Justice.
