Jacob is a dedicated advocate for clients in the fields of intellectual property litigation, commercial and business disputes, patent drafting, acquisition, and enforcement, and guidance and protection of intellectual property rights. He is committed to securing optimal results for clients, whether through negotiation and settlement, alternative dispute resolution options like mediation or arbitration, or trials before a judge or jury.

Jacob’s litigation expertise encompasses a wide array of claims, including patent, copyright, and trademark infringement and non-infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, artists’ rights, deceptive trade practices, unfair competition, and breach of contract, among others. He is proficient in all critical aspects of patent litigation, from pre-lawsuit diligence, motion practice, and discovery, to claim construction, infringement and validity analysis, aiding experts in preparing technical reports, inter partes review, and trial. His litigation experience covers a diverse range of technologies, including software applications, mechanical and industrial devices, and chemical technologies. Additionally, Jacob has experience in patent licensing, copyright acquisition and licensing, and trademark acquisition and licensing.
